Engine Fuel Injector Group A Failure

The engine's computer can't control the fuel injectors for group A, which is responsible for delivering the right fuel amount to the engine. It may be due to wiring issues or faulty injectors.

The ECU monitors resistance and voltage on the fuel injector circuit using specific thresholds. If the resistance is above 3 ohms or below 1.5 ohms, or the voltage is not within the 10-14V range, this code is triggered.

Don't just throw parts at it. Walk through these in order — each step tells you whether to keep going or stop and fix what you found.

1. 11. Check the wiring and connectors for the fuel injectors in group A for visible damage or corrosion. If found, repair or replace as necessary. Decision point: If wiring is damaged, fix the wiring and retest. If not, move to the next step.
2. 22. Measure resistance at the injector connectors with a multimeter. It should read between 1.5 - 3.0 ohms. Decision point: If resistance is out of spec, replace the faulty injector. If resistance is within spec, proceed to the next step.
3. 33. With the ignition on, check voltage at the injector connector while the engine is cranking. It should be around 12V. Decision point: If voltage is low or absent, trace back to the ECU for faults. If voltage is present, the injector itself may be faulty.
